Lego Lord of the Rings: Level 2/The Black Rider FREE PLAY – All Collectables – HTG
(HTG) Brian walks you through FREE PLAY for Level 2, The Black Rider FREE PLAY, for Lego Lord of the Rings. We grab the 9 remaining Mini kits we missed in our Story Mode Walkthrough, we find the Black Smith Design, all 3 hidden Items for our Treasure Trove and we also reach the stud requirement for True Adventurer status which is 40,000 studs. Below we have also included a text step by step for easy following. PREREQUISITES:
Complete Story Mode (all levels recommended)
Uruk-Hai (25k in Helms Deep) or Mithril Boxing Gloves (Found in Osgiliath)
Berzerker (200k in Helms Deep) or Mithril Fireworks
Mini Kit 1: Pull Golden Handle at Start and Drop into Secret Area. Follow Path till you use rope to drop down. Use Legolas to hop onto the ledge with the platform and snag mini kit 1.
Mini Kit 2: In same area plug the 3 mole holes. Legolas for one of them. Gimli smash for another. Sam’s tinder box to burn away the foliage. Lastly use Frodo to enter the dark cave.
Mini Kit 3: Back up top, when you get to the tree with the destructible door, sneak behind the tree and snag mini kit.
Treasure 1: Before the first stream, walk towards the screen and you will find a small path that leads to treasure
Mini Kit 4: At the first stream, use Berzerker’s bomb to destroy the cage and free the mini kit.
Treasure 2: Right after you blow up the cage and free the mini kit destroy the small bushes that cover the small cave and enter it with Frodo and his light to find the soup pot
Mini Kit 5: During the fight with Sarumon, grab onto him and smash him into the stained glass door behind him. Birds will then swoop in and drop off a new baby.. jk its a mini kit.
Mini Kit 6: Shoot 5 Birds Nests. #1 is by the boulder you roll down the hill. #2 and #3 are just beyond the flower Sam grows, #4 is on the bee hive tree and #5 is above the black rider at the final stop.
Mini Kit 7: Before crossing the second stream, make sure to smash through the cracked wall with Gimli.
Blacksmith: After running the black rider off of the bridge, go under the bridge and destroy the wall to reach the elven loop to pull with Sam’s elven rope.
Treasure 3: Right by blacksmith design, Sam’s elven rope get put to use again on the waterfall wall
Mini Kit 8: After dropping bee hive on black rider, climb up inside the tree with Gollum.
Mini Kit 9: Shortly after the bee hive tree, use Sam to dig up another kit.
Mini Kit10: In final getaway scene, stay right to get this mini kit.
