Thumby’s Essential Information

100% Difficulty 2.5/10
Estimated time to 100%: 90-100 hours

Roadmap

Step 1: Complete the STORY

During this step you will want to focus on completing all 45 STORY levels. There’s a good chance you’ll complete a handful of challenges and collect minikits while doing this. This will potentially save you a little time in the long run.

Step 2: Prepare for FREE PLAY

After completing the 45 STORY Levels, you are likely going to want to collect all of the Minikits and other collectibles offered in the FREE PLAY mode. Once you complete the STORY you will have everything you need in order to collect everything in FREE PLAY. However we HIGHLY recommend grabbing at least 1 DATACARD so you can get a stud multiplier. Refer to “What Have You Done With Those Plans?” trophy/achievement for more details. This will greatly help achieve True Jedi status on each level and much more. While not required we also recommend unlocking Boba Fett. You’ll be able to purchase him upon completing the story level that unlocks him. We found him to be quite useful in FREE PLAY and FREE ROAM due to his jet pack.

Step 3: Complete FREE PLAY

Our full FREE PLAY collectible guide can be found located at the bottom of the guide. There are a total of 225 Minikits and 135 Challenges. While there is no text guide for the challenges, they are quite simple and require little to no explanation. They often just require you to pay attention and look out for various things throughout the level.

Step 4: COMPLETE FREE ROAM

This is going to be the longest and most tedious part of the game, however it is extremely easy. Make sure to unlock the Collectible Detector in the upgrades tab and fully upgrade it. The game will then basically tell you where everything is and where to go. Along with the side quests and puzzles you’ll want to keep track of the Galaxy challenges as well. If you find yourself missing Kyberbricks on a planet, it may be tied to a Galaxy challenge. Also make sure to check the insides of buildings and caves as they often have collectibles inside.

For the full FREE ROAM video guide’s refer to the bottom of the page located after FREE PLAY.

Important Note: During FREE ROAM we noticed a number of display glitches on maps for a number of planets. After completing a puzzle or side mission the icon for the task would not disappear which can cause confusion. Even after completing free roam these icons may not disappear. To properly track what you have yet to complete use the tracking feature for anything missing (located under the “missions” tab. Rumours for each missing task can be purchased for 30k studs.

Step 5: Trophy Cleanup

By now you’ll have most of the trophies/achievments and you’ll want to collect any missing ones in this step. For more info on the ones you missed refer to the guide below.

Raw, untamed power

Fully upgrade a character class

Refer to “Power! Unlimited power!” for more info.

Power! Unlimited power!

Fully upgrade all of the character classes

To earn this you’ll need to fully upgrade all Classes in the upgrades tab. CORE UPGRADES do not count towards “Raw, untamed power”. With core upgrades included it will cost you 1163 Kyber Bricks to full upgrade everything. To find out which Kyber Bricks you have and still need, they can be tracked under the “Missions” tab. One thing to keep an eye out for are Capital Ships. 3 out of 5 will appear randomly when exploring certain parts of the Galaxy while in space. You’ll need to fight 3 of them and purchase all of them in order to land on them and complete the puzzles within them. They do cost quite a bit so it is recommended to do this after you have all the multipliers purchased.

What have you done with those plans?

Collect every datacard

There are a total of 19 datacards in the game. They are similar to that of red bricks from previous games. They work a little differently though. You can collect one and unlock anything “cheat” such as 2x studs. Below is a list of where to find each datacard.

Tip: Datacard’s appear as a relic like icon on the map. They will reveal themselves on the map once you get close enough to them. With the map open you can set a waypoint to where they are.

Exegol – Sith Citadel: Head underground and you’ll come to a point where you’ll see a matching minigame. Behind that is a staircase. Go up and right until you’re at the end of the walkway. There is a rope you can jump to. Climb it and walk across the beam to collect it.
Kef Bir – Crash Site: From where you land head north. There will be a character quest near the middle. Head south west and you’ll see a house. Behind the house is the datacard.
Endor – Ewok Village: From where you land, head right and make your way down the tree all the way to the bottom. At the VERY end it drops off but you can see some branches. Shoot them to reveal a target and shoot the target to reveal the datacard.
Coruscant – Federal District: You’ll want to make your way to the north west of the map. You’ll come across a door that’s locked. Follow the glowing red wire to a floor board which can be broken. Follow the path ALL the way to the end. Smash around to reveal 2 buttons and open to door to the datacard.
Coruscant – Uscru District: On the south most part of the map is a circle. You can from to it. Walk around it and you’ll find the datacard.
Jakku – Niima Outpost: On the north west of the map along the edge is a large cylinder in the sand. Jump on top and into the hole for the datacard.
Takodana – Maz’s Castle: Head to the far west side and you’ll see a guy fishing. There will be a tall pillar you can grapple to. Grapple on top and step on the button to reveal the datacard in the water.
Hoth – Echo Base: In the big room you enter when you land on Hoth, go straight and near the end on the left will be some handles you can grapple to. Grapple your way up and across the lights to the datacard.
Bespin – Cloud City: On the map in the middle you’ll see a set of stairs going down. Go down the right set and make a hard right turn. There will be a void which you can fall in die in but across the void a wall that can be broken with a breaker blaster. Shoot the wall to reveal the datacard.
Crait – Crait Outpost: From where you land, head left and climb the ladders to get to the high level. At the top will be a lady that will mention something about grappling to higher ledges. If you look up from there you’ll see the datacard next to a grapple point. Jump and then grapple to it.
Mustafar – Mining Complex: Near the north of the map is a set of stairs going up. Via the map take the right set and walk along the edge. You’ll eventually see some grapple points. Grapple and make your way to a datacard.
Dagobah – Dragonsnake Bog: On the bottom right of the map you can find the datacard above a tall branch. On the branch are some grapple points you can grapple to.
Tatooine – Jundland Wastes: From where you land head into the valley. On one of the paths will be some grapple points. They will go up and then down. At the highest point jump up and try to land on the ledge. This can be a little tricky and we recommend you use Boba Fett for this as he can stay in the air for a short bit. Stay along the wall and make your way left using his jet pack and once on top the datacard will be sitting near the edge.
Tatooine – Mos Espa: On the north west part of the map is a back alley. At the end of the alley is a doorway with the datacard inside.
Tatooine – Mos Eisley: On the north east side of the map you’ll come across a two story building with a data card on the side. Around the building you should be able find up 3 moveable blocks with the force (one block is behind another building not too far). Build yourself a staircase to get it.
Genonosis – Stalgasin Hive: Fairly central on the map you’ll find a large rock. Along the rock from the south side you’ll need a net launcher to climb the wall. Climb the wall and go left at the top and make your way to what seems like a dead end. From there (we recommend Boba Fett) jump as far as you can and you’ll see some grapple points. Climb up and find the datacard.
Kashyyyk – Kachirho: On the east side of the map at giant trees you can go up via stairs. Make your way to the top and stay along the left path. Once outside you’ll be on a platform. To the left of that will be another platform. Jump to it with Boba Fett or someone with double jump and you’ll see the datacard in a hole.
Yavin 4 – Great Temple: From where you land, go straight until you see a catwalk. On top is the datacard. On the backside are some grapple plugs that can get you on the catwalk.
Cantonica – Canto Bight: From where you land enter the main building. Make a right turn (not into the room), a left and another left. In the small alley way you enter there is a grapple point high up. Use the grapple points to get to the datacard.

You may fire when ready

Collect 1000 Kyber Bricks

There are a total of 1166 Kyber Bricks in the game so getting 1000 shouldn’t be too difficult.

Hello there!

Collect all characters

There are a total of 380 characters that need to be collected and purchased. This will likely be one of the last things you do since it’s quite costly. It is suggested you unlock them after getting the “Only one business in the Galaxy…” trophy/achievement. A good chunk of the characters will come from the story but most of them you’ll need to find in FREE ROAM. Please note that 1 character comes from a challenge.

See you around, kid

Complete all of the events in the Galaxy

To earn this you’ll need to collect every Kyber brick, character token, ship token and datacard on each planet. Any collectibles from the story are not required. Most events are incredibly simple to comeplete. Nearly everything can be tracked. Below are some tips and tricks to make your way through this a little easier. You DO NOT need to complete the capital ships and all the challenges either to unlock this trophy/achievement.

All FREE ROAM videos can be found at the bottom of the page after the FREE PLAY section.

Tips and Tricks
– under the “missions” tab you are able to see under “Galaxy” exactly how much progress you’ve done
– once you’ve done everything on a planet but still seem to be missing kyberbricks or tokens. Remember to check inside each building. If you are still missing something, go into the “missions tab”, purchase the rumour and select it to track it. This will provide you with a waypoint (very rarely will puzzles, etc not appear on the map but they can still be tracked).
– some galaxy challenges are tied to specific planets, those challenges count towards the total Kyberbricks for that planet.
– you can “cheese” various puzzles that require you to reach high locations by building, stacking or gliding to them. Simply have one character play as BB-8 and the other as a Jedi/Sith. You can use the force to levitate BB-8 to high locations. Once over the location quickly swap to BB-8 while over the kyberbrick.
– if you ever get stuck on a puzzle, come back to it later as you may need to comeplete something else in that location first.
– solutions to puzzles are always near by and tips by in game AI may serve useful.
– little pink icons on the map are often used for a puzzle on side mission near by.
– when doing a side mission where you need to speak to people, the people you need to speak to have green speech bubbles.
– purchase the “Universal Translator” datacard as it will remove the hassle of having to swap characters to speak in certain languages.
– some locations require you have completed various puzzles or side quests from other locations in order to do various other tasks. Some locations we noticed that may be a good starting point for FREE ROAM would be Utapau, Naboo, and Kashyyyk.

The fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy

Complete all races in the Galaxy

Races in this game are labeled as Trials. There are a total of 38 and are scattered throughout planets and space. While going for the 100% this will come naturally. You’ll most likely encounter them as you explore planets and space however, if you wish to knock this out as quickly as possible, each races “rumour” can be purchased and tracked.

Do or do not. There is no try

Complete all Galaxy Challenges

While going through each location in the open world you’ll likely complete some of these along the way. To make it much easier for yourself make sure to have the Collectible Detector unlocked via the UPGRADES tab. All challenges can be viewed AND tracked (with waypoints) via the Missions Tab under Challenges. Below is the full list of challenges required for the trophy/achievement.

Tips:
– Some challenges require you to have the ability to go to capital ships. Capital ships can randomly appear (completed and purchased) in certain parts of the galaxy while some need to be purchased right away.
– For the “Mouse Droid Hunt” there is a mouse droid that may not appear in the proper location on Jakku. It’s possible it will spawn in the same spot as the other mouse droid located on Jakku.

Frost Rebels – Rescue frozen Rebels in Echo Base.
Rebel Net Work – Rescue trapped Rebels from nets in Ewok Village.
Porg Patrol – Rescue displaced porgs found across the galaxy.
Mouse Droid Hunt – Destroy helmet-wearing Mouse Droids found across the galaxy.
Dance in the Cantina – Make 5 patrons in the Cantina dance at once.
Space Chaser – Destroy golden ships found in space across the galaxy.
The Anti-Trooper – Complete every shooting gallery in the galaxy.
Where’s the Wookie? – Speak to the Wandering Wookie found in locations across the galaxy.
Reptile Revealer – Find all Zymods in the Ajan Kloss Resistance Base.
Contingency Curioso – Read all the contingency plaques in the Exegol Sith Citadel.

Jedi Business

Use Jedi Mind Tricks to make 5 people fight simultaneously in the Cantina

During the side mission “Bar Brawl” located on Mos Eisley Tattooine you’ll have the opportunity to use Jedi mind tricks and earn this. However if you do miss it during the side mission, head back to Chalmun’s Cantina anytime after the side mission and there will tons of people inside who you can make fight.

I’ve never seen a real one!

Ride all creatures throughout the Galaxy

There are 10 creatures you’ll need to ride in order to earn this. Some can be earned in the story but you’ll need to find most of them in FREE ROAM. Below is a list of them and where you find them.

  • Kaadu – Found in Episode 1 – Level 4 Outmanned But Not Out-Gungan-ed. Can be found by one of the story objectives at the start of the level.
  • Reek – Found in Episode 2 – Level 4 Petranaki Panic. One of the 3 beasts.
  • Orray – Found in Episode 2 – Level 4 Petranaki Panic. One of the 3 beasts.
  • Orbak – Located on Kef Bir – Crash Site as part of a side mission.
  • Tauntaun – Located on Hoth – Echo Base right as you spawn in.
  • Luggabeast – First you’ll need to complete the “Luggabeast of Burden” side mission located on Jakku – Tuanul Village. After the mission head to Jakku – Niima Outpost and along the east side of the map where the story mission is you’ll find it.
  • Ronto – As soon as you spawn into Tattooine – Mos Eisley you’ll see it. (large giraffe like creature)
  • Dewback – Can be found next to the Ronto or outside the Chalmun’s Cantina located on Tattooine – Mos Eisley. (green reptile)
  • Bantha – Can be found next to the Dewback outside the Chalmun’s Cantina on Tattooine – Mos Eisley. (brown goat/buffalo)
  • Fathier – Can be found on Cantonica – Canto Bight in the north east corner.

You guys got yourself a ship!

Earn 17,000 studs

While not story related, it is unmissable.

Only one business in the Galaxy…

Earn 10,000,000,000 studs

For this you’ll need to collect at least 5 datacards (“refer to What have you done with those plans?” for locations) and purchase all the stud multipliers. We recommend you avoid purchasing anything other than a couple upgrades so you afford to buy the multipliers.

Get the crews to their fighters

Destroy 100 TIE fighters

You will unlock this over time and likely earn it without even trying. A number of levels require you to destroy tie fighters in order to progress the story.

Aggressive Negotiations

Defeat 3 enemies at the same time with an explosion

There are a number of places you could earn this. A good place to do it however is the level “Better Call Maul” (Episode 1 Level 3). Tons of droids will spawn in groups. This can unlock while attempting the challenge to knock 5 droids off the walkway with the force.

And who gave you permission…?

Shoot helmets off 50 enemies

This will likely come naturally as you place. Simply aim for Stormtrooper heads when using a blaster to knock off their helmets.

A little short for a Stormtrooper…

Create 25 disguises as a Hero character

During the story, free play and free roam you’ll fight stormtroopers and be able to use their armour as disguises. This can easily and quickly be farmed in free play or free roam. Once you find a full disguise, switch to a character that cannot wear a disguise. The armour will fall off. Switch back to the character that can wear it. Rinse and repeat until you get the trophy/achievement.

I don’t like you either!

Achieve a combat multiplier score of 30

This will likely happen naturally as you play. The best places to earn this are during encounters where you need to defend a location and stormtroopers keep spawning. There are several of these throughout the story.

Hey, what are you trying to push on us?

Complete all the Jawa’s ”Faulty Droid” missions on Tatooine

All Faulty Droid missions can be found on Tatooine – Jundland Wastes. While completing all the side missions on this planet, you will unlock this naturally. Not all the side missions will appear at once as this is a quest line meaning after completing one mission, the next one will appear after.

GONK!

Complete all the GNK droid escort missions

There are a total of 8 GNK droid escort missions. You’ll most likely earn this naturally by completing each planet and space location. However if you wish to track this you can buy the rumour for the GNK Power Cruise located under the ships tab.

I can fly anything

Complete a flight level without dying

To complete this Trophy/Achievement you must complete a flight level without dying. There are tons of flight levels to choose from. This will likely come naturally while playing.

Minikit 3: Among the asteroids is a very large asteroid you can fly inside of. Along the outside of it is a minikit.
Minikit 4:
Fairly close to one of the satellites is a minikit floating in space. It’s glowing white so be on the lookout.
