H-Hour Early Access making positive ground! – HTG
SOF Studios has been doing a great job of keeping players out of the dark in regards to H-Hour: World’s Elite since the completion of their Kickstarter campaign back in 2013. Weekly check-ins have given fans an arena to not only stay up to date on the developmental progress, but to voice their concerns or provide praise for the dev team.
The transparency provided by SOF Studios is a great way to ensure the content will meet the quality standards of the die-hard fan base. It is always best to engage an active fan base, ultimately at the end of the day they are the only ones you need to please. The rest will work itself out. Not everyone is going to have the same opinion of how the final product should turn out, and it has been interesting to read the differentiation on the comment board.
A lot of it can be broken down to the old school vs. new school argument. Do you want to see more advanced, modernized gameplay? Or do you prefer a beefed-up version of the old SOCOM style? Either way, we are sure that the guys at SOF will put out a final product sure to provide many hours of entertainment. One quote from one of the recent weekly updates gives me hope that the right thing is being done, “We’ll always work to reorganize and adjust when needed”. I find this to be a crucial approach to anything in life. Constantly evaluating and reevaluating your priorities are key to fostering positive development.
While there are some rumblings out there about a delay in getting the game completely rolled out, it is important to keep in mind SOF’s player-centric approach and transparency. The wait, as it usually is, will be more than worth it.
