Lego Lord of the Rings: Level 7/Taming Gollum – FREE PLAY – All Collectables – HTG
(HTG) Brian walks you through FREE PLAY for Level 7, Taming Gollum FREE PLAY, for Lego Lord of the Rings. We grab the 7 remaining Mini kits we missed in our Story Mode Walkthrough, we find the Black Smith Design, all 3 hidden Items for our Treasure Trove and we also reach the stud requirement for True Adventurer status which is 88,000 studs. Below we have also included a text step by step for easy following. Hopefully this helps you for Level 7 Taming Gollum FREE PLAY. PREREQUISITES:
Mini Kit 1: With Gandolf, stack the blocks just as you see on the image shown on the wall
Mini Kit 2: After building the blocks with Gandolf proceed up the mountain, use Beserker’s bombs to destroy the silver rocks on the right Giving access to a small cubby hole. Head in with a small character to find the Mini Kit below.
Blacksmith: Around the corner from the hobbit hole, shoot some arrows into the holes and swing up to a ledge up high. Pull yourself up there and change to Frodo to light up the cave and find the Mithril Carrot Bow
Treasure 1: Jump down and continue along the mountain. When you reach the beginning of the staircase that leads up into the tower, look down over the left edge. You can see a walkway below with a bunch of blue studs. Jump down here and use the Mithril Boxing Gloves to pull the orange handle opening the gate. Smash up the snowman to grab the Snowman Hood
Mini Kit 3: Now head into the tower, and break the Morgul blocks with Aragorn/Elendil about halfway up. Use Sam and plant a flower then use the flower to reach a high ledge with the Mini Kit
Mini Kit 4: Now you are in the area with Gollum. Destroy 4 large skeletons on the area.
To the left of Gollum’s fish basket
Near where you can use the Elven Rope with Sam.
In the far right of the first area.
In the upper level, near where you push the block down to create the stairs to get back down to the starting area.
Mini Kit 5: All the way to the right, break the Morgul bricks to the right of the sliding pillar. Then use Frodo’s light in the cave to find the Mini Kit
Mini Kit 6: Use Sam’s Elven Rope on the boulder to the right of the dark cave
Mini Kit 7: Use Sam to grow two large purple flowers, then use a Legolas and his bow to shoot the center of the flower
Treasure 2: Use the pillar to get to the next area, then use Gimli to smash the crack in the corner to find the Rock Hat
Mini Kit 8: After lighting the fire with Sam to get the fish in the area with the Rock Hat, head down to the right and use Gimli to break open the crack on the wall on the left to find the Mini Kit
Mini Kit 9: When fighting with Gollum, head away from Gollum and destroy the rocks near the back of the area, then put chest together.
Treasure 3: During the Gollum Battle, find the three pieces of the Fishing Pole and put them together
Mini Kit10: In this same area, use Frodo to light the cave underneath Gollum, then use Mithril Fireworks to destroy the blockage at the end of the cave. Proceed through here to a secret area. In here, you need to use Gollum on the wall to get to both the left and right side ledges. The Right side ledge creates a mechanism to open the gate with the treasure and the left give you a latch to use to open it.
